"I'm very excited," said Button, runner-up last season, during the launching ceremony. "This is our moment to see how hard we work. It's a very exciting day. Hamilton added: "I think it's fantastic. Good to be here after a pleasant winter, when everything is working hard to build this car."

The most obvious difference is the rear bodywork is more streamlined, and a revised cooling system. U-shaped Sidepod used in the past year has also been redesigned, to adapt the new FIA regulations about exhaust.
