Dodge has officially revealed the 2011 Grand Caravan and the interior looks great. Chrysler is really stepping up their game. It will be interesting to see an all new car developed with Fiat on the team.
Dodge’s onslaught of updates continues. This time around, it’s the Dodge Grand Caravan that gets the makeover. For 2011, America’s most popular minivan gets slight exterior modifications, including LED lights in the back, that give it a bolder, more modern look. But the biggest changes are on the inside and under the hood.
Just like most of the 2011 Avenger, Journey and Caliber, the 2011 Grand Caravan now has a new, higher-quality interior that features abundant soft-touch material, a one-piece instrument panel and a three-spoke steering wheel. A new center console provides added functionality and storage plus more comfortable and larger Stow ‘n Go seats with a new, easier to use one-touch fold down function.
Under the hood, the Caravan gets the new Pentastar 3.6L V6 with 283-hp and a revised suspension. The 3.6L V6 replaces all three of the previous V6 engines available on the 2010 model. More details on the 2011 Dodge Grand Caravan can be found in the press release below.
